I am a massive fan of Daniel Johnston and have just completed recording 13 Daniel Johnston songs, featuring my dear friend MayKay from Fight Like Apes, Maykay’s performances of Daniel's songs are breathtaking, as you will soon discover.

Interpreting Daniel’s songs has been a truly magical journey for us.

Since 2020 we have hosted an event to celebrate “Hi, How Are You Day” on Jan 22nd (Dan’s Birthday) in Dublin, Ireland, with the encouragement and blessing of Daniel’s Hi, How Are You Project based in Austin Texas. With an aim to encourage new conversations around positive mental health and well being.

“Dreaming Of Daniel” is inspired by our performances at these concerts. We have so much fun at the “Hi, How Are You Day” gigs, we felt compelled to capture the songs, arrangements and performances in a studio setting.
